What is SelamPass?
SelamPass is a platform for the Ethiopian community in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. We help you discover Ethiopian events, authentic restaurants, cultural experiences, and community gatherings all in one place.
How do I book an event or experience?
Simply browse our listings, select an event or experience you like, choose your date, and complete the booking. You'll receive an instant digital pass via email and in your account.
How do I use my pass at the venue?
Show your digital pass (the QR code) at the venue when you arrive. The staff will scan or verify your pass and grant you access to the event or experience.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes! Each listing has its own cancellation policy displayed on the booking page. Most experiences offer free cancellation 24 hours before the event. Check the specific listing for details.
How do I become a partner?
Visit our Partner Portal and sign up. Our team will review your application, verify your business, and help you set up your listings. It's free to join!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
Can I book for a group?
Absolutely! When booking, you can select the number of guests. Group pricing and capacity limits vary by experience, so check the listing details.
What if the event is full when I arrive?
All bookings through SelamPass guarantee your spot. Venues reserve capacity specifically for pass holders, so you'll never be turned away with a valid pass.
