How much does it cost to join?
Nothing upfront. We take a small platform fee only when a customer books through SelamPass — zero sign-up cost, zero monthly. Free community events stay free; paid events keep 95% of each ticket.
What types of businesses can partner?
Concert organizers, DJs, cultural centers, restaurants, event venues, wellness instructors, language/music academies, and community organizations — anyone running experiences for the Habesha diaspora in the DMV.
How do I get paid?
Payouts run weekly through Stripe Connect, deposited directly to your bank. You keep 95% of each booking; SelamPass takes a 5% platform fee.
Can I control my availability and pricing?
Absolutely. You have full control over pricing, capacity limits, operating hours, and you can pause or update events anytime from your partner dashboard.
How does booking validation work?
Each booking generates a unique QR code. When the customer arrives, your staff scans it through the partner portal to validate the booking instantly.
What support do you provide?
As a founding partner, you get direct access to the founder — not a support ticket. We're small, and that means faster responses, real conversations, and a platform that actually listens to your feedback.
